Travelling is a dazzling and mind-changing experience. Most
remarkable moments are which when your camera catches unforgettable
moments, cultures you witness, and great minds you meet on the go.
Especially for those who do the same thing every day, traveling is a
great therapy. Travelling will widen one's horizon whilst allowing
self-exploration. Here's some benefits of travelling;
-Lifting your energy up
Exploring
a foreign city/country/culture, making some extreme sports such as
scuba diving, skiing etc. will lift your energy up (or maybe libido? ;))
Cause you know, routine is killing it for sure!
-You will begin enjoying loneliness unlike you hated.
The
first stage of travelling is to beat the fear of being alone. What am I
gonna do? Where am I gonna go? What am I even gonna eat?! You may think
a travel mate would make everything easier but a better way is
counter-intuitive.
To feel safe, you don't need a friend. During travelling, you will take this in. “
Thank God"s will replace “if only"s, then travelling alone will be your favorite activity. All in all,
travel set you free
from your everyday chores, proximity, and others around. Travelling in
groups will be a total nightmare for you. Every head will put their idea
forward that might take you a boring place, which might not be in your
list. This is the worst of the worst of travelling: imagining to be in a
museum, or ancient ruins instead of wherever the group took you. Your
control should be in your hands. That's how you make the most out of
travelling.
-Meeting new people
If you are savage,
you MUST travel. You don't need to establish life-long friendships (as
you know it's hard), but mind you, we are now appx. 7.5 billion and each
has something to teach! Conversationalist people will cross your road
for sure. Those people might surprise you with their backgrounds,
mottos, mindsets and etc.
How enjoyable travelling can make your
life could not be explained in a short article. Ultimately, strangers
could provide you a pleasant experience. Oh, and if you get your new
friends' number and address, maybe you would decide your next
itinerary!?
-Appreciating small favours
When
you are in need and have no one around to help you, you unavoidably
start appreciating small favours. Imagine this scenario: You are lost in
an alley, and you ask someone the main street. They show you the way,
but you can't seem to grasp and this person accompanies you to wherever
you are going.
Can you imagine how excited you would be to have received a wholehearted help from a total stranger? Even buying souvenirs from local bazaars could make you happy whole day (rather than making filthy rich companies even richer).
-Fulfilling your desires
A
lot of absurd thing goes on your mind every day, but the fear of being
labeled and peer pressure have you refrain or you are just asking
yourself if you could do this/that alone. Freedom is granted to
travelers!
-Discovering who you are
To illustrate this
benefit, let's imagine you are a child of a successful parents with
solid rules. Your perception of success would be limited to how your
parents succeeded. You would not be able to imagine other ways of
success.
There are million ways to succeed in your life depending
on your subjective definition, and travelling might help you define
success. Maybe you will chase the dream of making a living by fishing,
or being a pilot or professor? Let yourself draw your path by
travelling.
-Earning the ability to decide what's true and what's not
We
are not talking about deep issues here. Commenting on what you haven't
seen, experienced, tasted and etc. seems trivial. “I don't like this or
that" is not a correct statement if you have never tried it. You have to
give it a try, only then you can say whether you like it or not.
-Create experiences yourself
Isn't
it boring to listen other's stories all the time? No right decision
will give you a good story to tell. Make that wrong decision and travel!
-Gaining new abilities
Such
as time management. You will have to catch trains, buses or planes.
Imagine all that foreigners you will sit and chat. You will change, my
friend!
-Widening your horizon
You might
realise that each and every one of us are individuals and own personal
opinions based on personal experiences. You will hate for all people you
have judged throughout your life.
-Pushing your limits!
How
long can you walk to take a good photograph? Or your money is stolen,
how far can you go take it back? Or you hate washing dishes, you may
have to wash dished if you go broke.
-Learning when to stop
If
you break your bone, you will comprehend what we mean. Or the hangover
the other day you will have because of loosing control at that club last
night.
-Believing that you can succeed
“If I can do this, what is there to stop me from doing that?" Travelling
will encourage you to do more.
So, just a
